Fixing of Boundary Between Salug and Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte
Republic Act No. 4988, enacted on June 17, 1967, establishes the boundary between the Municipality of Salug and the Municipality of Liloy in Zamboanga del Norte. The boundary is defined starting from the Mucas River and follows specified natural features southward until it meets the boundary of Zamboanga del Sur. Territories, barrios, and sitios to the east of the delineated lines are allocated to Salug, while Barrio La Libertad and those to the west are assigned to Liloy. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on February 24, 1969.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4988
AN ACT FIXING THE BOUNDARY BETWEEN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SALUG AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF LILOY IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE
SECTION 1. The boundary between the Municipality of Salug and the Municipality of Liloy in the Province of Zamboanga del Norte is hereby fixed, and shall be as follows: acd
"Starting from the natural boundary point at North, the Mucas River; follow the course of this stream going South until one reaches the junction of the Calucap Creek still going South, continue until the source of the stream is reached. From this point, going South follow a straight line until the boundary limit of the Zamboanga del Sur, separating Zamboanga del Norte, is touched. The territories, barrios and sitios lying within the boundary of these delineation lines to the East belong to the territorial limits of the Municipality of Salug; and Barrio La Libertad, and all other barrios and sitios to the West shall become part of the Municipality of Liloy." cdt
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
