An Act Converting the Lucena Barangay High School in the Municipality of Prosperidad, Province of Agusan Del Sur into a National Government-Funded Secondary School to be Known as the Lucena National High School and Appropriating Funds Therefor

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8897
AN ACT CONVERTING THE LUCENA BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PROSPERIDAD, PROVINCE OF AGUSAN DEL SUR INTO A NATIONAL GOVERNMENT-FUNDED SECONDARY SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE LUCENA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Lucena Barangay High School in the Municipality of Prosperidad, Province of Agusan del Sur is hereby converted into a regular secondary school under the control and supervision of the national government through the Department of Education, Culture and Sports.
SECTION 2. This school shall be known officially as the Lucena National High School. aEDCAH
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
