An Act Converting the Existing Bayanihan High School in Sitio Sicud, Barangay Candawaga, Municipality of Rizal, Province Of Palawan, into a National High School to be Known as the Candawaga National High School, and Appropriating Funds Therefor
Republic Act No. 8830, enacted on August 22, 2000, converts the existing Bayanihan High School in Sitio Sicud, Barangay Candawaga, Municipality of Rizal, Palawan, into a national high school named Candawaga National High School. The act transfers all personnel, records, assets, and obligations from the former school to the new institution. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports is tasked with issuing the necessary regulations to implement the law. Funding for this conversion will be included in the General Appropriations Act for the subsequent year and beyond. The law takes effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on February 5, 2001.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8830
AN ACT CONVERTING THE EXISTING BAYANIHAN HIGH SCHOOL IN SITIO SICUD, BARANGAY CANDAWAGA, MUNICIPALITY OF RIZAL, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE CANDAWAGA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The existing Bayanihan High School in Sitio Sicud, Barangay Candawaga, Municipality of Rizal, Province of Palawan, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Candawaga National High School. aAcDSC
SECTION 2. All personnel, records, assets and properties including buildings, sites and improvements thereof, obligations, funds and appropriations of the Sicud Bayanihan High School are hereby transferred to the Candawaga National High School.
SECTION 3. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the necessary rules, orders and circulars to carry out the provisions of this Act.
SECTION 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. DCcHAa
SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
