Republic Act No. 8672, enacted on June 25, 1998, converts the Amamperez National High School in Villasis, Pangasinan, into the Amamperez Agro-Industrial High School. This conversion is under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, which is tasked with creating the necessary implementation guidelines. Funding for the school's operations will initially come from the current year's appropriations, with future needs to be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8672

AN ACT CONVERTING THE AMAMPEREZ NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF VILLASIS, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN, INTO AN AGRO-INDUSTRIAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE AMAMPEREZ AGRO-INDUSTRIAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1.  The Amamperez National High School in the Municipality of Villasis, Province of Pangasinan, is hereby converted, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, into an agro-industrial high school to be known as the Amamperez Agro-Industrial High School.

SECTION 2.  The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the necessary rules and guidelines to effectively implement the purpose and provisions of this Act.

SECTION 3.  The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Amamperez National High School. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the Amamperez Agro-Industrial High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 4.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval. dctai
