Batas Pambansa Blg. 787, enacted on April 27, 1984, establishes the sitio of Beverly Hills in Barangay San Roque, Antipolo, Rizal, as a new barangay named Barangay Beverly Hills. The new barangay's boundaries are defined by the Antipolo-Taytay Road, Pinagbangkaan Creek, and the Municipality of Taytay. Following a plebiscite to be held within 120 days of the law's approval, the first officials will be appointed by the President until elections occur. The Commission on Elections is responsible for conducting the plebiscite, with costs covered by its appropriations. The law took effect upon its approval.

AN ACT CONSTITUTING SITIO OF BEVERLY HILLS IN BARANGAY SAN ROQUE, MUNICIPALITY OF ANTIPOLO, PROVINCE OF RIZAL, INTO A NEW BARANGAY TO BE KNOWN AS BARANGAY BEVERLY HILLS

SECTION 1.  The sitio of Beverly Hills in Barangay San Roque, Municipality of Antipolo, Province of Rizal, is hereby separated from Barangay San Roque and constituted into a new barangay of the said municipality to be known as Barangay Beverly Hills.

SECTION 2.  The Barangay Beverly Hills shall include the area bounded by: N — Antipolo-Taytay Road, E — Pinagbangkaan Creek, SW — Municipality of Taytay. casia

SECTION 3.  After ratification by the majority of the votes cast in a plebiscite to be conducted in the area affected within one hundred twenty days from the approval of this Act, the President of the Philippines shall appoint the first officials of Barangay Beverly Hills who shall hold office until their successors shall have been elected and qualified in the next regular barangay election.

SECTION 4.  The Commission on Elections shall conduct and supervise the plebiscite herein provided. The expenses for such plebiscite shall be charged to the appropriations of the Commission on Elections provided in the current annual General Appropriations Act for plebiscites. asia dc

SECTION 5.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
