An Act Changing the Name of Lavezares Agricultural and Industrial School, Municipality of Lavezares, Province of Northern Samar to Basilio B. Chan Memorial Agricultural and Industrial School

Republic Act No. 9179, approved on November 13, 2002, officially changes the name of the Lavezares Agricultural and Industrial School in Lavezares, Northern Samar, to Basilio B. Chan Memorial Agricultural and Industrial School. The Act aims to honor Basilio B. Chan by naming the educational institution after him. It will take effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on January 27, 2003.
