COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 25
AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES TO USE ANY UNEXPENDED BALANCE OF ANY APPROPRIATION, OR PART THEREOF, PROVIDED FOR UNDER SECTION NINETY-EIGHT OF COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED ONE, TO COVER DEFICITS IN THE APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF MOBILIZATION AND TRAINING CENTERS PROVIDED IN THE SAME SECTION OF THE SAID ACT
SECTION 1. The President of the Philippines is hereby authorized to use any unexpended balance of any appropriation, or part thereof, not to exceed the amount of two million eight hundred and two thousand pesos (P2,802,000), in any item of any purpose under section ninety-eight of Commonwealth Act Numbered One, known as the "National Defense Act," to cover deficits in the appropriations under items sixty-two and sixty-three of Purpose V under the same section of the said Act. All amounts that may have been used in accordance with this provision shall be refunded to the respective items of appropriations from the funds that may be appropriated by the General Appropriation Act for nineteen hundred and thirty-seven for the construction of mobilization and training centers of the Philippine Army.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
