COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 413
AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING ADDITIONAL GOVERNMENT SERVICES, PERSONNEL, AND FACILITIES FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT
SECTION 1. As an emergency measure and for the purpose of providing additional services, personnel, and facilities under the Departments of the Interior and Justice, or otherwise, for law enforcement, including the control and suppression of acts of violence and lawlessness arising from agrarian conflicts and the proper enforcement of the Philippine Rice Share Tenancy Act, there is appropriated out of any funds in the Philippine Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of five hundred thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to be spent in the discretion of the President of the Philippines. SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
