ACT NO. 1481
AN ACT AMENDING ACT NUMBERED ONE THOUSAND AND ONE, ENTITLED "AN ACT REDUCING THE ELEVEN MUNICIPALITIES OF THE PROVINCE OF ABRA TO FIVE," BY TRANSFERRING THE SEAT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF PILAR FROM THE BARRIO OF SAN JUAN TO THE TOWN OF PILAR
SECTION 1. Section one of Act Numbered One thousand and one, entitled "An Act reducing the eleven municipalities of the Province of Abra to five," is hereby amended by striking out paragraph two of said Act and inserting in lieu thereof the following paragraph:
"(2) The municipality of Pilar shall consist of its present territory and that of the municipality of Villavieja, with the seat of the municipal government at the present municipality of Pilar."
SECTION 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
