ACT NO. 1068
AN ACT AMENDING ACT NUMBERED NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY, ENTITLED "AN ACT REDUCING THE FORTY-THREE MUNICIPALITIES OF THE PROVINCE OF SAMAR TO TWENTY-FIVE," BY CORRECTING AN ERROR IN PARAGRAPH FOUR OF SECTION ONE THEREOF
SECTION 1. Paragraph four of section one of Act Numbered Nine hundred and sixty, entitled "An Act reducing the forty-three municipalities of the Province of Samar to twenty-five," is hereby amended by striking out the words "Santa Rita" in the second line and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Santa Margarita." HEITAD
SECTION 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SECTION 3. This Act shall be retroactive, and take effect from October twenty-third, nineteen hundred and three.
