Amendments to R.A. No. 605 Re: National Agricultural School in Milagros, Masbate

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4771

AN ACT AMENDING THE TITLE, SECTION ONE AND SECTION THREE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED SIX HUNDRED FIVE, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO ESTABLISH, ORGANIZE AND MAINTAIN ONE NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MILAGROS, PROVINCE OF MASBATE, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF CERTAIN SUMS OF MONEY FOR THE PURPOSE"

SECTION 1. The title of Republic Act Numbered Six hundred five is hereby amended to read as follows:

"An Act to establish, organize and maintain one national agricultural school in the Municipality of Mandaon, Province of Masbate, and to authorize the appropriation of certain sums of money for the purpose." cd

SECTION 2. Section one of the same Act is amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 1. The Secretary of Education is hereby authorized to establish, organize and maintain one national agricultural school of the Central Luzon Agricultural School type in the Municipality of Mandaon, Province of Masbate, to be called Masbate Agricultural School."

SECTION 3. Section three of the same Act is amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 3. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to locate and acquire or cause to be located and acquired a suitable site for the purpose of this Act, which may be public or private lands situated within the Municipality of Mandaon, Province of Masbate."

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
