MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 442
AMENDING MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 36 SERIES OF 1992
Pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby order,
SECTION 1. Section 3 of Memorandum Order No. 36 Series of 1992 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"The importations and donations under this Memorandum Order shall be solely intended for the use in areas declared under a state of calamity by the President of the Philippines or the local Sanggunian pursuant to R.A. 8185. The DSWD, in consultation with the National Disaster Coordinating Council, shall thereafter determine whether the state of calamity in said areas has already ceased to exist."
SECTION 2. All the other provisions of Memorandum Order No. 36 not inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 25th day of August, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Ninety-Seven.
