LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 692
AMENDING LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 651 AUTHORIZING THE CONDUCT OF A NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COUNTRYSIDE DEVELOPMENT

| Department of Local Governments and Community Development, | ||
| Department of Natural Resources, | ||
| Department of Finance, Department of Public | ||
| Highways, National Economic and Development Authority. | ||
| The Governor of the Central Bank of the Philippines, | ||
| and the following supporting institutions of the | ||
| Development Academy of the Philippines including | ||
| the President of the DAP: Department of National Defense, | ||
| Development Bank of the Philippines, Land Bank of the | ||
| Philippines, Civil Service Commission, Government Service Insurance | ||
| System, Social Security System. | ||
| The Budget Commissioner |
In order to give more time for the organizers and Secretariat to prepare the necessary Program of Activities and to provide it a much wider coverage and national participation, the National Conference on Countryside Development, originally set to convene during the first week of February (05-12 February 1978) is hereby postponed. cd
The Secretary of Agriculture, who shall be the conference Chairman, is hereby authorized to set the specific date of the conference; Provided, however, that all participants to the said conference shall be duly informed by the Chairman.
