Amendments to Implementing Guidelines of Employee Suggestion & Incentive Awards System

MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 395
AMENDING THE IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES OF THE EMPLOYEE SUGGESTION & INCENTIVE AWARDS SYSTEM (ESIAS) OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT
Pursuant to Rule X of the Omnibus Civil Service Rules and in line with the celebration of the Civil Service Week on September 13-19, 1996, Par. IV (B) of Memorandum Order No. 118-B, series of 1993 of this Office, entitled "Implementing the Employee Suggestion & Incentive Awards System of the Office of the President (Proper)" is hereby amended to include Personnel Development Award among the Incentive Awards authorized in the said Order, as follows:
"11. Personnel Development Award shall be given to an official/employee of the Office of the President who —
a. has completed a doctoral or masteral degree upon his/her own initiative and personal expenses
b. has successfully undergone a non-solicited scholarship/grant abroad through the NEDA
while serving the Office of the President.
"Award shall be as follows:

"Only one (1) award shall be granted the awardee notwithstanding the number of his/her post graduate degrees or scholarships grants."
