Amendments to Implementing Guidelines of Employee Suggestion and Incentive Awards System

MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 411
FURTHER AMENDING THE IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES OF THE EMPLOYEE SUGGESTION AND INCENTIVE AWARDS SYSTEM (ESIAS) OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT, AS AMENDED
Pursuant to Rule X of the Omnibus Civil Service Rules, Par. IV (B) of the Memorandum Order No. 118-B, series 1993 of this Office, entitled "Implementing the Employee Suggestion and Incentive Awards System of the Office of the President (Proper)," is hereby further amended to include the following reward in the said Order effective immediately, as follows:
"12. AMELIORATION ASSISTANCE"
The grant of this benefit serves as an incentive under the rewards mechanism to OP officials and employees in recognition of their contribution and unrelenting efforts, help them overcome present economic difficulties, boost their morale and further their commitment and dedication to public service.
This benefit shall be equivalent to Four Thousand Pesos (P4,000.00) which shall be given to each official and employee of the Office of the President, regardless of salary and appointment status except employees serving under contract of service, subject to availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
To be entitled to this benefit, an employee must have rendered at least four (4) months of service as of November 30, 1996, provided that an official or employee who has rendered less than four (4) months of service shall be entitled to an amount proportionate to actual service rendered.
Part-time employee shall receive only one half of the benefit of full-time employee.
