Amendment to Section 1 of Commonwealth Act No. 674

COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 680

AN ACT AMENDING SECTION ONE OF COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED SIX HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-FOUR, ENTITLED "AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE PHILIPPINES BEGINNING JULY FIRST, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FORTY-FIVE, UNTIL THE GENERAL APPROPRIATION ACT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE THIRTIETH, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FORTY-SIX, IS APPROVED

SECTION 1. The first sentence, section one, of Commonwealth Act Numbered Six hundred and seventy-four, is hereby amended to read as follows: IECcAT

"SECTION 1. Pending approval of the General Appropriation Act for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and forty-six, Commonwealth Act Numbered Six hundred and fifty-four, Administrative Order Numbered Five, dated May twenty-five, nineteen hundred and forty-five, and Executive Order Numbered Eighteen-W, dated August thirty-first, nineteen hundred and forty-four, shall continue in force for the operation of the Government of the Commonwealth of the Philippines for a period of three months beginning July first, nineteen hundred and forty-five, and for this purpose, there are hereby appropriated from any fund in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sums equal to one-fourth of the various items of appropriations authorized in said Act and administrative and executive orders."

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July first, nineteen hundred and forty-five.
