REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3345
AN ACT TO AMEND SECTIONS ONE AND TWO OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED NINE HUNDRED TWENTY-FOUR, STANDARDIZING THE SALARIES OF MUNICIPAL JUDGES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CLASSIFICATION OF CHARTERED CITIES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Republic Act Numbered Nine hundred twenty-four is hereby amended to read as follows: cd i
"SEC. 1. The annual salary of each judge of the municipal courts of chartered cities shall be:
"(a) Of the City of Manila, eleven thousand six hundred pesos;
"(b) Of Baguio, Quezon City and Pasay City, ten thousand six hundred pesos; casia
"(c) Of first class cities, nine thousand six hundred pesos;
"(d) Of second class cities, eight thousand seven hundred sixty pesos;
"(e) Of third class cities, seven thousand eight hundred pesos;
"( f ) Of fourth class cities, seven thousand two hundred pesos; and
"(g) Of fifth class cities, six thousand six hundred pesos."
SECTION 2. Section two of Republic Act Numbered Nine hundred twenty-four is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 2. The municipal judges shall be entitled to thirty days vacation leave with pay for each year of service.
"Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, the designation of the positions of municipal judge in chartered cities in the Philippines is hereby changed to that of city judge."
SECTION 3. All Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
