REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6540
AN ACT AMENDING SECTION FOUR OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED FIFTY-NINE HUNDRED NINETY-NINE, ENTITLED "AN ACT CREATING THE SUBPROVINCE OF SAMAL IN THE PROVINCE OF DAVAO"
SECTION 1. Section four of Republic Act Numbered Fifty-nine hundred ninety-nine is hereby amended to read as follows:
"The corporate existence of the Subprovince of Samal in the Province of Davao shall commence when the first lieutenant governor shall have been elected in the next general election in nineteen hundred seventy-three and shall have qualified." aisa dc
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
