REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5677

AN ACT AMENDING SECTION NINETEEN OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED FORTY-TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-FOUR, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE "MINING ENGINEERING LAW OF THE PHILIPPINES"

SECTION 1. The first paragraph of Section nineteen of Republic Act Numbered Forty-two hundred seventy-four is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 19. Issuance of Certificates. — The Board of Examiners for Mining Engineers shall, within two years only after the approval of this amendatory Act, receive applications for certificate of registration without examination as mining engineer, and may issue to any applicant who, on the date of approval of this Act, is:"

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
