EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 670-A
AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 670, SERIES OF 2007 TO DELINEATE THE ADJUDICATORY POWERS OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ANTI-GRAFT COMMISSION
WHEREAS, to fairly expedite the disposition and resolution of cases under investigation by the Presidential Anti-Graft Commission, there is a need to delineate the adjudicatory powers in it vested under Executive Order No. 670, Series of 2007. HSCAIT
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution and the law, do hereby order the following amendment to Executive Order No. 670, Series of 2007:
SECTION 1. Section 2, paragraph (c) shall heretofore read as follows:
The Commission, in behalf of the Office of the President, shall have the authority to conduct proceedings on all cases falling within its jurisdiction upon sufficient cause. All decisions of the Commission shall be rendered en banc and shall state, among others, the factual findings, legal conclusions and the appropriate administrative penalties imposed. IEHTaA
Such decisions shall be submitted to the President for appropriate action.
SECTION 2. All orders, rules and regulations and issuances or parts thereof inconsistent with this Executive Order are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately after publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
