DOH ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 2016-0035-A
| SUBJECT | : | Amendment to Administrative Order No. 2016-0035 Dated September 19, 2016 Entitled "Guidelines on the Provision of Quality Antenatal Care in All Birthing Centers and Health Facilities Providing Maternity Care Services" |
Administrative Order No. 2016-0035 dated September 19, 2016 entitled "Guidelines on the Provision of Quality Antenatal Care in All Birthing Centers and Health Facilities Providing Maternity Care Services," hereby amends section VI. Specific Guidelines item 3 and item 7.
Item 3 shall now read as follows:
"3. Focused antenatal care interventions for healthy women with no underlying medical problems shall be provided over 4 visits at specified interval: 1 visit during the 1st trimester (8-12 weeks), 1 visit during the 2nd trimester (24-26 weeks) and 2 visits during the 3rd trimester at 2 weeks interval (32 weeks and 36-38 weeks). For women with underlying medical conditions, focused antenatal care may require more visits upon doctor's advice."
