PROCLAMATION NO. 507-A
AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 59 DATED MAY 9, 1936, AS AMENDED BY PROCLAMATION NO. 413 DATED MAY 5, 1957, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE MT. APO NATIONAL PARK, BY EXCLUDING FROM ITS OPERATION A CERTAIN PORTION FOR PERMANENT FOREST PURPOSES
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 59 dated May 9, 1936, as amended by Proclamation No. 413 dated May 5, 1957, which established the Mt. Apo National Park, by excluding from its operation a certain portion of the land embraced therein with an area of 39,050 hectares situated in the municipalities of Kidapawan and Makilala, Province of Cotabato, and the municipalities of Bansalan, Digos, Sta. Cruz and Guianga, province of Davao, and declare the same as permanent forest under the purview of Republic Act No. 3092 to be administered by the Bureau of Forestry, which portion of land is more particularly described as follows: cd
Beginning at point 1 which is identical to N.P. corner No. 15 of W.P. May 12, S. 15 deg. E; 1,850 m. to point 2, thence S. 61 deg. W; 8,300.00 m. to point 3; thence S. 19 deg. W. 2,500.00 m. to point 4; thence S. 45 deg. E. 8,300.00 m. to point 5; thence S 77 deg. E. 8,400.00 m. to point 6; thence N 64 deg. E; 1,700.00 m. to point 7; thence following the Municipal boundary of Digos and Sta. Cruz in Southeastern direction; 7,500.00 m. to point 8 which is identical to N.P. Corner No. 122 of N.P. Map 12, thence N. 06 deg. W; 7,000.00 m. to point 9, thence N. 07 deg. W; 2,600.00 m. to point 10; thence N. 08 deg. W; 6,600.00 m. to point 11; thence N. 35 deg. E; 3,900.00 m. to point 12; thence N 24 deg. W; 1,700.00 m. to point 13; thence N 75 deg. W; 7,200.00 m. to point 14;
Thence following the National Park boundary in Southwestern direction; 8,700.00 m. to point 1, the point of beginning; containing an area of about 39,050.00 hectares subject to existing private rights and concessions and provided that all revenues derived from existing concessions shall be reverted to the National Treasury to the credit of the Park and Wildlife Office and shall be known as "National Parks Fund," except reforestation and forestry information fees which shall be credited to the Reforestation Administration and the college of Forestry respectively.
The above-described parcel of land is subject to future delimitation and survey.
