Amending E.O. No. 367 Re: Presidential Advisers and Assistants under the Office of the Executive Secretary
Executive Order No. 501, issued on February 6, 2006, amends Executive Order No. 367 from October 4, 2004. This amendment repeals a provision that placed the system of Presidential Advisers/Assistants for regional concerns under the Office of External Affairs (OEA). Instead, these advisers/assistants will now be integrated into the Office of the Executive Secretary. The OEA continues to focus on coordinating with non-government and people's organizations, while the advisers/assistants will serve as the primary representatives of the President in the regions.
