Amending D.O. No. 17-2014 on the Establishment of the Office of Assets Management and Support Services

DFA DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 09-15
AMENDING D.O. NO. 17-2014 ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE OFFICE OF ASSETS MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT SERVICES
To remain consistent with Executive Order No. 340 dated 5 February 1997, Article 4, Section D, paragraph (b) of Department Order No. 17-2014 dated 08 October 2014 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"b. Oversee the Department's Day Care, provide holistic growth, care and education to the children of the Department's personnel, contribute to the education of children by administering age appropriate lessons and games and participating in local and international celebrations and programs, and encourage healthy development of peer relationships, as supported by the Department of Social Welfare and Development's academic guidelines and curriculum;" (emphasis provided)
The function of directly supervising the Department's Day Care Center (DCC) is also transferred back to the Office for Personnel and Administrative Services, by virtue of Department Order No. 06-12, Section 6.1 of which states:
"The DCC shall fall under the direct supervision of the Administrative Services Division of the Office for Personnel and Administrative Services (OPAS-ASD)."
All Department Orders and other issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed accordingly.
This Department Order shall take effect immediately. CAIHTE
