Additional court stenographers for the National Capital Region Courts

Supreme Court Administrative Circular No. 04-90, issued on January 31, 1990, addresses the need for additional court stenographers in the National Capital Region due to the demands of the continuous trial system. It acknowledges that the current number of stenographers—three for Regional Trial Courts and two for Metropolitan Trial Courts—is insufficient. Consequently, the circular mandates that each court will receive one additional stenographer. Judges are directed to submit recommendations for qualified candidates to the Supreme Court's Administrative Division.
