<--!09022008-->BAR Matter No. 1922
On September 2, 2008, the Philippine Supreme Court issued a resolution concerning Bar Matter No. 1922, which mandates that lawyers indicate their Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Certificate of Compliance or Certificate of Exemption in all court pleadings. The Court noted a request from the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) to defer the implementation of this requirement until December 31, 2008. In response, the Court granted the request and amended the implementation date to January 1, 2009. This decision reflects the Court's acknowledgment of the concerns raised by legal practitioners regarding the timeline for compliance.
