After reviewing the Petition and its annexes, inclusive of the Court of Appeals' (CA) Decision 1 dated May 31, 2018 in CA-G.R. SP No. 146457, the Court resolves to DENY the Petition. A careful consideration of the Petition indicates petitioner's failure to show any cogent reason why the findings and rulings of the CA, which have passed upon the same issues as those raised in the present Petition, should be reversed. Petitioner failed to show that the CA's factual findings are not based on substantial evidence, or that its decision is contrary to applicable law and jurisprudence.
