Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution dated 06 February 2019which reads as follows:
"G.R. Nos. 241825 and 241843 — Sky Cable Corporation and Eugenio Lopez III versus Andrew F. Lomtong, Adrienne Maximillian A. Abrera, Jose T. Tubalinal, Alfredo S. Japson, Diosdado S. Pinlac, Jr. and Ryan C. Briones
G.R. Nos. 241831-32 — Andrew F. Lomtong and Jose T. Tubalinal versus Sky Cable Corporation and Eugenio Lopez III
The Court resolves to DENY the Petitions and AFFIRM the Court of Appeals (CA) Decision 1 dated March 27, 2018 and Resolution 2 dated August 17, 2018 in CA-G.R. SP Nos. 150358 and 150527 for failure to show that the CA committed any reversible error in denying the petitions for certiorari.
After a judicious review of the case, the Court finds that the CA correctly ruled that petitioners in G.R. Nos. 241831-32 are field employees and that they have entered into fixed-term contracts. Further, the CA was correct in ruling that there was no proof that they were dismissed from employment.
The Court further NOTES the Manifestation of petitioners in G.R. Nos. 241831-32 dated November 6, 2018 stating that they received a copy of the Petition for Review on Certiorari in G.R. Nos. 241825 and 241843.
