Sirs/Mesdames:
Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution dated 23 September 2020which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 12481 (Nimfa Samonte, represented by Remedios M. San Juan, v. Atty. Berteni C. Causing). — The Notice of Resolution in CBD Case No. 16-4915 dated June 28, 2018 of the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) is NOTED. Considering that the findings of fact and recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner in the attached Report and Recommendation, as approved by the IBP Board of Governors, are duly supported by the evidence on record and by applicable laws, the Court ADOPTS and APPROVES the recommendation to dismiss the Complaint.
ACCORDINGLY, the complaint against respondent Atty. Berteni C. Causing is hereby DISMISSED for lack of merit.
The Court further resolves to DECLARE this case CLOSED and TERMINATED.
