Please take notice that the Court, First Division, issued a Resolution datedApril 23, 2018which reads as follows:

Indigenous Cultural Community of Mamanwa, and Taganito Mining Corporation). — The motion for extension of time to file a petition for review on certiorari filed by petitioner Philippine Mountain Tribes Development Association, Inc. is GRANTED. After a review of the records, the Court resolves to DENY the petition for being filed beyond the extended period and for being an improper mode of appeal, considering that Republic Act No. 8371 1 provides that appeals of decisions, orders, awards, or rulings of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples shall be brought to the Court of Appeals by way of a petition for review.

WHEREFORE, the petition is DENIED.
