NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, First Division, issued a Resolution datedNovember 20, 2017, which reads as follows: AIDSTE
"G.R. No. 233030 (People of the Philippines and Mabalacat Institute, Inc. v. Hon. Judge Eda P. Dizon-Era, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 60, Angeles City, Pampanga and Engracia N. Punsalan). — The Court resolves to DENY the petition and AFFIRM the Court of Appeals (CA) Resolutions dated January 31, 2017 and July 25, 2017 in CA-G.R. SP No. 148302 for failure to sufficiently show that the CA committed any reversible error in dismissing the petition for certiorari on the ground that it was filed without the conformity or intervention of the Solicitor General.
As correctly ruled by the CA, the filing of the petition for certiorari without the intervention or the conformity of the Solicitor General is a violation of Section 35 (1), 1 Chapter 12, Title III, Book IV of the Administrative Code and is considered a procedural misstep.
SO ORDERED."
Very truly yours,
(SGD.) EDGAR O. ARICHETADivision Clerk of Court
