NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution dated April 1, 2019, which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 12466 (JULIETA S. ERA, complainant v. ATTY. MICHAEL ANTHONY T. UMALI, respondent). — This Court NOTES the: (1) January 28, 2019 Letter 1 of Atty. Marlou B. Ubano, Director for Bar Discipline of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Commission on Bar Discipline, transmitting the documents pertaining to the case; and (2) July 12, 2018 Notice of Resolution 2 of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Board of Governors, adopting the findings of fact and recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner to dismiss the Complaint but to issue a stern warning upon the respondent.
Acting on the Complaint against respondent Atty. Michael Anthony T. Umali, this Court resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner in the attached Report and Recommendation 3 dated February 27, 2018, as approved by the Board of Governors in its July 12, 2018 Resolution. Accordingly, this Court resolves to DISMISS the case against respondent Atty. Michael Anthony T. Umali with a STERN WARNING that he should follow the right process when acting as a notary public.
