Please take notice that the Court, First Division, issued a Resolution dated March 6, 2019 which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 12402 [formerly CBD Case No. 15-4827] (Amelita Sison Navarro and Jose C. Navarro, Jr. vs. Atty. Maria Victoria Gonzales-Diego)
After a careful review of the records of this case, We resolve to affirm the findings of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Board of Governors and find Atty. Maria Victoria M. Gonzales-Diego GUILTY of violating Rule 1.01 of Canon 1, 1 Canon 7, 2 and Canon 8 3 of the Code of Professional Responsibility for her unethical actions in connection with her personally serving copies of a "Petition to Deny Due Course to and/or to Cancel the Certificate of Candidacy" to complainant Amelita S. Navarro on November 4, 2015, during the occasion of the complainants' 50th wedding anniversary celebration, lacking in proper demeanor as a lawyer, thereby causing distress and humiliation upon complainants.
WHEREFORE, the Court ADOPTS the September 23, 2016 Resolution as well as the May 2, 2017 Extended Resolution of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Board of Governors in CBD Case No. 15-4827, and REPRIMANDS Atty. Maria Victoria M. Gonzales-Diego for violating Rule 1.01 of Canon 1, Canon 7, and Canon 8 of the Code of Professional Responsibility.

1. CANON 1, RULE 1.01 — A lawyer shall not engage in unlawful, dishonest, immoral or deceitful conduct.
2. CANON 7 — A lawyer shall at all times uphold the integrity and dignity of the legal profession, and support the activities of the integrated bar.
