NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution dated March 6, 2019, which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 10396 (Jose Maria M. Mirasol v. Atty. Peter Q. Maristela). — For resolution is the instant administrative complaint filed by Jose Maria M. Mirasol against Atty. Peter Q. Maristela for violation of the Code of Professional Responsibility relative to his alleged vote-buying activity/ies during the elections of the Liga ng mga Barangay.
In his Report and Recommendation dated August 16, 2016, Investigating Commissioner Atty. Joel L. Bodegon recommended the dismissal of the complaint after finding that the complainant failed to substantiate his allegations. In a Resolution dated November 27, 2017, the Board of Governors of the IBP adopted and approved said Report and Recommendation, and dismissed the case due to lack of merit.
Finding the recommendation of the IBP to be fully supported by the evidence on record and applicable laws, the Court RESOLVES to DISMISS the case against Atty. Peter Q. Maristela and consider the same as CLOSED and TERMINATED.
