NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution dated July 6, 2022 which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 13451 [Formerly CBD Case No. 16-4986] (Romeo Adan and Cirila Adan v. Atty. Albert P. Yruma). — The Court NOTES the Notice of Resolution 1 dated September 7, 2019 of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Board of Governors which approved and adopted the Report and Recommendation 2 dated May 17, 2017 of the Investigating Commissioner to dismiss the complaint for lack of merit; and resolved further to direct the Commission to prepare an extended resolution explaining the Board's recommendation regarding the possible violation of the Code of Professional Responsibility (CPR) by Atty. Jerome Norman Tacorda (Atty. Tacorda) and refer the same to the IBP Northern Samar Chapter for appropriate action; transmitted by letter dated March 30, 2022 of Director Avelino V. Sales, Jr., IBP Commission on Bar Discipline, together with the records and flash drive file of the case.
The Court resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendations of the Commission on Bar Discipline in the attached the Extended Resolution 3 dated March 5, 2022 and the Commissioner's Report and Recommendation 4 dated June 22, 2021, which the IBP Board of Governors likewise adopted and approved. The Complaint against respondent Atty. Albert P. Yruma is DISMISSED.
The IBP Northern Samar Chapter is DIRECTED to investigate the possible violation of the CPR by Atty. Tacorda and make a report to the IBP Board of Governors. The IBP Board of Governors is ORDERED to forward the necessary records to the IBP Northern Samar Chapter for its reference in the investigations within ten (10) days from notice.
