NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court, Second Division, issued a Resolution dated14 February 2022which reads as follows:
"A.C. No. 11213 (Romeo Adan, Cirila Adan, Tarcisio Vibar, Maria Leano Vibar, and Roberto Telegrafo Desoasido v. Atty. Edcel Ballicud). — The Court NOTES the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Board of Governors': (1) Notice of Resolution 1 dated July 11, 2020, which adopted the findings of fact and recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner to dismiss the case; transmitted by the letter 2 dated August 4, 2021 of Director Avelino V. Sales, Jr. (Director Sales), Commission on Bar Discipline, IBP, together with the records of the case; and (2) letter 3 dated July 29, 2021 of Director Sales, stating that the report and recommendation were already submitted by Investigating Commissioner Atty. Victor Emmanuel M. Pangilinan to the Board; that after having been deliberated upon by the Board on July 11, 2020, a resolution was passed, adopted, and promulgated; and that the Notice of Resolution was sent to the parties on November 10, 2020, and awaits the registry return card.
The Court RESOLVES to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendation of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in the attached Report and Recommendation 4 dated February 3, 2020. Accordingly, the Court DISMISSES the complaint 5 against Atty. Edcel Ballicud for lack of merit.
