| SUBJECT | : | Uniformity of Assessment and Collection of Docket and Other Legal Fees on Petitions for Recognition of Foreign Judgment |
In the Resolution dated 5 November 2019 of the Court En Banc in A.M. No. 19-09-228-RTC (Re: Letter-Query of Atty. Rodhelyn T. Del Mundo Regarding the Correct Assessment of Filing Fees in Petitions for Foreign Judgment), the Court resolved to DECLARE, for uniformity of assessment and collection of docket and other legal fees, that petitions for recognition of foreign judgment shall be considered as a special proceeding.
This Declaration shall be given prospective effect.
Strict compliance is enjoined.
