Tubod National High School in Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur
Republic Act No. 8377, enacted on November 13, 1997, establishes a national high school in Barangay Tubod, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur, to be named Tubod National High School. The school will operate under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports. Funding for the school's establishment will be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following the law's enactment. The Act became effective upon its approval and lapsed into law without the President's signature, in accordance with the Philippine Constitution.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8377
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY TUBOD, MUNICIPALITY OF LAKEWOOD, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, TO BE KNOWN AS THE TUBOD NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, a national high school in Barangay Tubod, Municipality of Lakewood, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, to be known as the Tubod National High School.
SECTION 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
