ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 272
TRANSFERRING THE FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICES OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ADVISER ON THE PEACE PROCESS TO THE OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY EXECUTIVE SECRETARY FOR FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION, OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT
WHEREAS, the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) is provided with technical and administrative support by its own Secretariat, which is under the direct control and supervision of the Presidential Adviser; cDEICH
WHEREAS, the President, pursuant to Section 31, Chapter 10, Book III of Executive Order No. 292, otherwise known as the Administrative Code of 1987, is vested with continuing authority to reorganize the Office of the President and the agencies under her administrative control and/or supervision;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:
SECTION 1. Transfer of OPAPP Finance and Administration. — The Finance and Administration Services of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process shall be undertaken directly by the Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Finance and Administration of the Office of the President.
SECTION 2. Repealing Clause. — All executive issuances inconsistent with any provision of this Administrative Order shall be deemed revoked, amended or modified accordingly.
SECTION 3. Effectivity. — This Administrative Order shall take effect immediately.
