PROCLAMATION NO. 2244

AMENDING PRESIDENTIAL PROCLAMATION NO. 169 DATED FEBRUARY 1950, BY TRANSFERRING AND VESTING OWNERSHIP OVER THE LAND ON WHICH THE VETERANS MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER IS SITUATED FROM THE NATIONAL HOUSING AUTHORITY TO THE VETERANS MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER AT NO COST

Upon the recommendation of the Minister of National Defense and pursuant to the provisions of Section 64 (e) of the Revised Administrative Code, I hereby order that the title over the parcel of land on which the Veterans Memorial Medical Center is situated, containing an area of FIVE HUNDRED FORTY-NINE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (549,120) square meters, more or less, and which parcel of land was previously reserved for said Hospital under Presidential Proclamation No. 169 dated 22 February 1950, be transferred from the National Housing Authority, the present title holder, to the Veterans Memorial Medical Center, effective as of 22 February 1950 at no cost. casia
