LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 193

TO : Secretary Jose D. Aspiras Tourism

In the implementation of Presidential Decree No. 381, requiring that any tourism development project by any person or private corporation must first be approved by the Philippine Tourism Authority before they are undertaken, you shall give special attention to the areas bordering the coasts of Bataan, Cavite, Pangasinan and the Ilocos provinces and prospective island resorts.

For the reasons I have explained to you verbally, you shall not approve any such projects without the approval of the intelligence groups.

Your strict implementation of these instructions is desired.
