Time Extension for Payment of Land Tax in Leyte for 1902
Act No. 576, enacted on January 3, 1903, extends the deadline for the payment of land taxes in the Province of Leyte for the year 1902 to April 1, 1903, without penalty. This extension was prompted by the treasurer's failure to collect taxes in various towns by the previously designated date. The Act emphasizes the public good and was expedited for swift passage. It takes effect immediately upon enactment.
