| SUBJECT | : | Temporary Release of Inmates Suffering from Communicable Diseases and Other Health Concerns to Hospitals for Appropriate Treatment |
Acting on reports that motions filed by counsel or officials of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology to bring inmates suffering from serious ailments and other health concerns, which cannot be properly treated by the jails clinics, to hospitals or clinics outside the detention facilities are not being expeditiously acted upon, all judges of the first and second level courts are REMINDED and ADVISED to be more circumspect and considerate in acting on these motions which should be prioritized and immediately acted upon in a speedy and efficient manner in accordance with the applicable rules.
