ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 207
SUSTAINING ATTENTION AND ACTION ON PEACE INITIATIVES AT LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVELS
I, GLORIA M. ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order: TCAHES
SECTION 1. The Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process and the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office shall brief Congressmen on the amnesty proposal, for urgent passage this year.
SECTION 2. The OPAPP shall report and give recommendations on recent overtures of the National Democratic Front for resuming peace talks, without prejudice to local peace initiatives.
SECTION 3. The National Security Council and the OPAPP shall hold local peace assemblies in Luzon before the end of the year, and report on peace initiatives in the Bohol and Butuan areas, including development projects designated by the Armed Forces of the Philippines National Development Service Command.
These matters shall be scheduled for the National Security Cabinet Group meeting on 13 November 2007.
