Supplement to Memorandum Circular No. 08, Series of 2020 Re Implementing Guidelines for the Implementation of Urban Agriculture Program

DA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 13-20

In view of the recent development brought about by the COVID 19 pandemic and the Department of Agriculture's efforts to intensify community and household food production programs, the following are the supplemental guidelines to the Memorandum Circular No. 08, Series of 2020 dated March 16, 2020 on the implementation of Urban Agriculture Program.
Paragraph 4 Item I.c of Program Implementation Framework, to read as follows:

Paragraph 4 Item I.e is inserted as new provision, to read as follows:

Accordingly, the existing items I. e, f, g should be adjusted as f, g, h, respectively.
Further, inclusion of Adopt a City/Municipality for Urban Agriculture as new Paragraph II, to read as follows:
Adopt a City/Municipality for Urban Agriculture — All DA Bureaus, Attached Agencies and Regional Field Offices shall adopt a city or municipality for Urban Agriculture. They shall spearhead, promote, coordinate, and monitor the implementation of the program in their adopted city/municipality.
Accordingly, the existing paragraphs II, III, IV, V and VI should be adjusted as III, IV, V, VI and VII, respectively.
All others in Memorandum Circular No. 08, Series of 2020 remain the same.
