Submission of Report on the Appearance of Mr. Remberto Kara-an, Sr., as Counsel in Any Case Pending Before the Courts
OCA Circular No. 110-10, dated August 13, 2010, mandates all Executive Judges of the First and Second Level Courts in Metro Manila to report on Remberto Kara-an, Sr.'s appearances as counsel in any pending cases. This directive follows a previous resolution emphasizing the need for compliance, which had seen limited response from the judges. Only a few courts in Makati and Manila had submitted the required information. The current circular establishes a deadline of fifteen days for judges to submit their reports, reinforcing the necessity for strict adherence to the directive.

OCA CIRCULAR NO. 110-10
| TO | : | All Executive Judges of the First and Second Level Courts in Metro Manila |
| SUBJECT | : | Submission of Report on the Appearance of Mr. Remberto Kara-an, Sr., as Counsel in Any Case Pending Before the Courts |
In a Resolution dated 28 January 2008 in Administrative Matter No. MTJ-07-1674 [Formerly OCA IPI No. 04-1550-MTJ] (Remberto C. Kara-an vs. Judge Francisco S. Lindo, MeTC, Branch 55, Judge Edison F. Quintin, MeTC, Branch 56, and Branch Clerk of Court Ma. Fe Brenda T. Travino, MeTC, Branch 55, all of Malabon City), the Honorable Second Division reiterated the directive in the Resolution dated 19 April 2007 which, among other matters, directed the First Level Courts to report to the Court whether complainant Remberto Kara-an has any other appearances in their salas, and required the Presiding Judges of the First Level Courts of Metro Manila to strictly comply therewith within ten (10) days from notice, it appearing that only Executive Judge Singh and the branch clerks of court of Makati and Manila have complied with the Court's directive.
In view of the failure of most First Level Court Judges to comply with the above directives despite the lapse of time, and pursuant to the Memorandum dated 27 July 2010 of Assistant Court Administrator Jenny Lind R. Aldecoa-Delorino, you are hereby DIRECTED to submit to the Court, through the Office of the Court Administrator, within fifteen (15) days from notice, a complete and latest report indicating whether Remberto C. Kara-an, Sr. is appearing in any case pending before the branches within your respective jurisdictions.
For strict compliance. aESTAI
