PROCLAMATION NO. 153-A

DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 1987, AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF TARLAC

WHEREAS, General Francisco Makabulos was one of the outstanding Filipino generals in the revolutionary wars against Spain and the United States; and cdt

WHEREAS, the people of Tarlac, his birthplace, should be given full opportunity to celebrate his 117th birthday anniversary on Thursday, September 17, 1987, with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, September 17, 1987, as a non-working special day in the province of Tarlac.
