DECLARING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2008 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LIPA
WHEREAS, Friday, September 12, 2008, a National Pilgrimage to Lipa, a day of prayer and reparation, to gather all the faithful in common supplication to the Blessed Mother, Mary Mediatrix of All Grace; THESAD
WHEREAS, the Archdiocese of Lipa shall be the pulsating center of prayer of thanksgiving, worship and petitions by multitudes of local and pilgrim devotees;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lipa be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, September 12, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the City of Lipa.
