September 11, 2008 as Special (Non-Working) Day in Ilocos Norte

DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE
WHEREAS, Thursday, September 11, 2008, marks the birth anniversary of the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos in the Province of Ilocos Norte, to be known as the "Marcos Day"; DTAaCE
WHEREAS, the commemoration will exemplify the values and attributes of his exemplary leadership to be emulated by all the leaders of the Province of Ilocos Norte and the youth, the future of the next generation;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Ilocos Norte, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, September 11, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Ilocos Norte. TIaCHA
