Salary Standardization for Legal Officers of National Government
Republic Act No. 6100, enacted on August 4, 1969, standardizes the salaries of legal officers within the Philippine National Government, including positions such as trial attorneys, hearing officers, and research attorneys. The law establishes new salary ranges for these positions, ensuring they receive appropriate compensation based on their qualifications and responsibilities. Funding for these salary adjustments will be sourced from departmental savings for the fiscal year 1969, with future appropriations included in the General Appropriations Act. The Act also stipulates that these officers will continue to receive annual salary increases as per existing laws. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette.
